Carla Bray

@CarlaBrayHarpist · Harpist Carla Bray is an active freelance musician in the San Francisco Bay Area. Recognized as an accomplished and versatile harpist, she is known for performing in a variety of different styles and venues. Carla has had the pleasure to work with such legendary performers as Tony Bennett, Stevie Wonder, John Williams, James Galway, Take 6, Quincy Jones, Michael Buble, Monica Mancini, Debbie Allen, and many of Los Angeles' finest musicians. Carla has performed at many private events for groups such as the Tiger Woods Foundation, Henry Mancini Institute, Long Beach Symphony Association, Women of Los Angeles, Southern Living Magazine, and the Museum of Latin American Art. Carla is an active studio musician, recording at such well known studios as Paramount and 20th Century Fox for various films and other projects. She appeared in a scene as a wedding harpist on the NBC-TV series Las Vegas. She has performed with Kanye West at numerous venues, including the 2005 NFL Kickoff Concert, the $2 Bill Concert Series on MTV, the Life & Rhymes biography show on MTV, and most recently on the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards. Carla can also be seen on the duet "For Once In My Life" sung by Tony Bennett and Stevie Wonder with full orchestra in Tony Bennett: An American Classic, available on DVD. Carla has performed regularly with many notable orchestras in Southern California, including Burbank Chamber Orchestra, West L.A. Symphony, Pasadena Pops Orchestra, Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra, Golden State Pops Orchestra, Torrance Symphony, San Luis Obispo Symphony, and NOVO Philharmonic.
