@Billy-Pilgrim-187827717915966 · [" William Chalk first began this project in 2009 as the band 'Billy Pilgrim and The Time Travellers' and, after separating from the travellers decided to keep the name anyway, because the character sums up his view on life, and it just sounds cooler. Following gigs with The Time Travellers, Billy began playing acoustically all round his home county of Bedfordshire and performed twice in front of crowds of 300(ish) at The Woburn Oyster Festival. Despite only really playing these songs live for the first time in 2009, in reality many of them were much older, songs which never fitted with any band he was in, put simply, songs that were far too pop. A self titled album is currently (painstakingly slowly) in production, featuring all the note-worthy songs from the last 5 years or so, and Billy is just beginning to acquire gigs in and around York.
